Command Sergeant Major Carlos M. Simmons serves as the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, GA.

His previous assignments include Command Sergeant Major, National Ground Intelligence Center, Charlottesville, VA; Command Sergeant Major, 532nd Military Intelligence Battalion, 501st Military Intelligence Brigade, Republic of Korea and Command Sergeant Major, 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (AASLT), Fort Campbell, KY.

CSM Simmons has a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Studies from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.

He and his wife, Wendolyn, have five children and five grandchildren. 



Command Sergeant Major Cherry serves as the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, Fort Gordon, Georgia.   He is the senior enlisted advisor to the Cyber CoE Commanding General and staff. He provides enlisted perspective on care and welfare of the enlisted force, personnel management, leader development, training, and readiness of the command. CSM Cherry also creates awareness and provides guidance on the commander’s theater strategic objectives.
