New Hire Federal Civilian Employees

Once you accept the job offer, the Human Resources Specialist will send you a link to USA Staffing On-Boarding Manger to complete the appropriate in-processing forms.  This link is tailored for your type of appointment.  The USA Staffing On-Boarding Manger is the Armys primary system to capture data necessary to complete the on-boarding forms which will then be electronically transmitted to the new employees electronic Official Personnel Folder.

You will also be asked to complete the Criminal and Drivers History Consent Form, PS Form 190-6. This form is required to obtain access to the Fort Gordon installation.

In-processing - All new Federal employees must in-process with the Fort Gordon CPAC. You will be notified of the date, time, and location of your in-processing.

  • Health Insurance - enroll within 60 days of entry on duty date (enroll with ABC-C) • Life Insurance - automatically covered under Basic, 60 days from entry on duty date to enroll in optional coverage (enroll with ABC-C)

Permanent Change of Station

The Transportation Office is located in Darling Hall, Building 33720. Transportation will advise military/civilian personnel on weight restrictions and allowances, and assist with inbound shipments of household goods and other moving details. 


Claims Office

The Claims Office  processes claims for lost or damaged property, personal injury, death, disasters, and other costs arising from Army operations. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Appointments may be made outside those hours by calling 791-7132/3630. 


ID Cards and DEERS Office

The ID Card Section/DEERS Office is located in Room 161, of Darling Hall, Building 33720. Hours of operation are Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Out-processing

All Federal employees must out-process when departing Fort Gordon.
