Training

We will conduct training in all aspects of Environmental, Natural and Cultural Resources compliance. Classes will be held in the DPW/Safety Training Center, Bldg 11307, Lane Avenue unless otherwise noted.

ATTN: NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR All ENVIRONMENTAL TRAINING REGISTRATION:

Starting 1 January 2016, you will be required to submit a registration form and/or attachments for all environmental training classes/courses. This new requirement will allow this office to track environmental points of contact across the installation and plan more effectively for handouts and training materials for the classes.

The new registration form must be signed by your Supervisor (you are not permitted to sign your own registration form).  Once training has been completed, this form will be signed by the Fort Gordon Environmental Training Manager and will serve as your training certification. It is also required that each student submit a completed registration form with their signature. The completed registration form must be submitted two weeks prior to the scheduled class date/s.  If the form is not received within this time period you will not be enrolled in the designated training.  A confirmation email will be sent to the student and Commander/Director upon receipt. Walk-ins will not be permitted into class (certain circumstances will strongly be considered when coordinated with this office)!

As a prerequisite all Environmental Officers (EOs) are required to submit an appointment letter signed by your Supervisor designating you as the EO/BEM for your organization in order to be eligible to enroll in the EO training. The appointment letter must be submitted to this office along with your registration form prior to the class.  For more information, please call 791-6106.

To enroll in any of the environmental training courses, you must complete the training registration form and submit it to this office no later than two weeks prior to the class date(s).  If you need to cancel your enrollment for any reason, please contact this office by calling 791-6278.
